t mobile 5g only works if you live close to the 5g tower,if not you will run in 4g.I had it and it worked good as long as it was in 5g but it kept switching from 5 to 4 and stayed in 4g most of the time.If it would have stayed connected to 5g all the time I would have kept it

Been a cord cutter since 2011. Currently I pay for cable internet only + Amazon Prime annual. Otherwise there is a ton of content to watch on free services such as plain old UA-cam, Tubi TV, Pluto TV, Freevee, Local Now and much more. I'll soon get around to reinstalling my TV and getting an antenna. Currently watch most of my content on my Mac with a large monitor.

At&t fiber might be the overall best internet provider of all time. It has absolute amazing speed thank to the fiber, it's available in 22 States in the united states, great value, and great customer support. I really want at&t fiber 500 mbps of download and upload speed.

On the Apple TV box, if you turn off your TV/system while YTTV is playing, YTTV will auto-play when you turn it back on. If less than 4 hours have passed, it will often resume playing time-shifted back to when you turned your tv off. This and the live previews in the guide and mini guide make YTTV a much better experience on Apple TV than on Roku. The thing I wish they would add is the ability to change channels using voice commands (Siri or Roku Voice remote).

It is time congress disbanded these cable monopolies. They have earned back their initial investments many times over. We need true competition. Every one of my neighbors complain of dismal pixilation issues. Hell my TV pixilates on low resolution cartoons. Obviously they are selling more than their local equipment can provide. I am seriously thinking of reducing Xfinity TV to the bare minimum.

If you can get your local channels by antenna or you don’t need than your advice should be to not subscribe to any of them. For me it’s OTA, UA-cam premium and Amazon Prime. Prime has a tonnage of shows to watch. Then I subscribe off and on between Apple TV+ and Netflix. Folks, don’t think you need to have channels.

🆘 Comcast cable beware of their billing scam promising you five dollar credit if you sign up for auto bill paperless billing. I did never received the five dollar credit on any of my bills over 2 years. Not to mention when you cancel their pathetic overpriced cable/wifi service it’s a nightmare trying to settle up with a final bill and get a hard copy sent to you. I was never able to access the Comcast infinity website so I could print a bill; and don’t forget they raise your bill every year charging you more for their boxes and their pathetic service. So that’s why I fired Comcast.

Max is free for me with Internet. I have Prime video with Prime subscription. I have UA-cam Premium annual, Frndly TV annual, UA-cam TV, and Peacock Premium aon a 6month discount.. plus OTA and all the free apps. Hulu is with my Spodify bundle.

I tried visible for 1 day. I listen to youtube music alot. I had issues with youtube as it kept freezing often. So annoying. I had the basic 25 dollar plan. Does the 45.00 plan freeze like the cheaper 25.00 plan?

I have the Tablo and who highly recommend it. Their newest model combinations all the local channels your antenna picks up with about 60 streaming channels for no cost other then a one time fee or the box.

I use T-mobile Home Internet for $40/month (I subscribe to t-mobile cellular) with UA-cam TV for $73/month. I am very pleased with the service and saving over $40/month with my former cable company's TV and Internet.

Yes, UA-camTV is #1 in customer satisfaction but, it's missing A&E, History, Lifetime & LMN and hopefully they'll add those in the future once it's said and done

We were on the verge of getting away from Uverse and AT&T internet when I found Michael’s channel and after listening, we tried the UTube TV trial and cut out AT&T. When I tried to get their after internet service, I was told it would be a new install That cost extra and I’d still need a router. Summary: We shopped, got our T-Mobile >55 plan for the 2 of us for $70 unlimited, “tested their 5g internet for $50, and dumped AT&T entirely. With phone, internet, and cable we went from $346 to $200/month. UTube has all we need, but it was the local channels that swayed our decision. We got FRNDLY for other channels my wife wanted and tune in an out of services on an as needed basis. My son in law does FUBO, but he’s a sports guy.. This channel is worth subscribing to and financially suppoprting.

We are completely satisfied with YTTV and until recently also satisfied with Comcast internet only. But with T-Mobile with 3 phones and 5g internet for $145 locked in as compared $225 with Comcast and Verizon sealed the deal. I didn’t understand why Verizon installed a new tower within sight of our house last year, but didn’t offer 5g service, so we switched to T-Mobile and kept our cell numbers when we switched.

I find Direct TV Streaming meets my needs best because of the cable like guide and features. I have the $79 package so cost and channel coverage are fine. Different services meet different needs.

I am paying $92 monthly for SlingTV. I had UA-cam until they removed the History Channel. First, it was the Tennis Channel. They brought it back, but then removed History. Plus, I keep saying we have been with Sling since they began. ❤❤❤❤

I have been without any type cable TV or streaming of any kind for over 18 years now and don't miss it at all...there is plenty of free entertainment everywhere... what happened to just reading a book? .... Also I got a new TV a view months ago that has build in ROKU in it, so that's plenty of stuff to watch for me and since I have a huge DVD/Blue-ray collection i have zero need for any of that...

I bought a pioneer tv for 298.73 to test against my Supposed 8k samsung I sold the Samsung just a head ups. I play Xbox and the graphics on Samsung weren’t that good until I plugged it into my Pioneer Xumo tv actually runs 3840x2160p. Price range 298.73 for 55” Pioneer Xumo tv it was on sale so there is that. Price Samsung I don’t remember I bought it a while ago but price was 398.55 and that was on sale for a 43” Samsung 8k or 4k supposedly but it wasn’t. Sorry for being so long but I got rid of my Samsung for the Pioneer.

The problem with that is the cost. Then there's the subscriptions. Max, Disney Plus, Paramount+, Where does the corporate greed stop? Cutting the cord as you call it, I don't see the difference anymore. Both dig really deep into our bank account.

Im with xfinity and with my low income using the ACP support got low internet with payment plan for their phone. Gov. no longer supports that plan. A couple more months and the phone will be paid off, then I will have to keep a close watch to see if price goes up. Other carriers Ive talked will only give you the similar internet rate if you buy their phone, so it appears a no win situation for people like me. I currently pay $30 a month with 100 speed till that price goes up.

OK I finally cut the cord from directv and went youtube tv for a couple yrs. But now I notice the stream services inching their way upwards. So I dropped the stream and now its over the air tv for me. Of course finding the right antenna of each individual is the issue I finally found one for me that brought in my locals and I happen to live 35 mi from my local big city. The cheaper indoor channel master antenna works for me as it has the 12' RG6 cable. This is not to say I wont pick up a certain stream during winter time to see my fav team or not. If I do it may only be for a month or two.

If one does choose the Visible base annual plan and then wants to upgrade, you just pay the difference for the remainder of the plan. I've locked Visible+ 1.0 for $35/month, so kinda of the best of both worlds to an extent. I did the same for my wife six months ago. I recently upgraded hers to Visible+ 2.0 and paid the annual rate, so effectively $33/month. However, we have multiple carriers on our phones for travel. I have her on Boost Infinite for $25/month. Since we already had the iPhone 15 Pro Max purchased directly from Apple, we got the Smart Network "Rainbow SIM" and she's on Boost towers when they are available. When not, she gets service from TMO or ATT towers based on the PLMN info I get from her phone. I use Mint Mobile and Visible to have access to both TMO and VZN networks. My employer provided work line is on ATT, so I'm well covered. We travel, so no one carrier is the best in any particular area. With MVNO providers and unlocked dual SIM phones, we can access multiple networks for less than a line on ATT, TMO or VZN costs. Finally, access to carrier deals on phones is essentially choosing a digital handcuff. It's the same sort of "locked in" as the phones are locked to their network until paid off AND the credits (if you get them, and sometimes the carrier "forgets") come over a three year period. Just buy your phone from Apple or Samsung (or whomever, one is not limited to those manufacturers) and you have an unlocked phone you can sell or trade in. I did the math and for a single line of service, what I would pay ATT, TMO or VZN for an iPhone 15 and two years of service gets me an iPhone 15 Pro and three years of service on Mint Mobile. Maybe even longer if I sell my old phone. (I got $600 selling my iPhone 13 Pro, so that's 50% of the cost of the new iPhone 15 Pro I use as my daily driver phone) The video makes some good points. Just wanted to point out Visible lets you upgrade your annual plan if you want. I don't think they let you downgrade it. They have your money, so why would they :)

We're retired and I switched from Verizon FIOS TV to Direct TV Stream as it's the only offering that has all of the channels we used to watch on Verizon. Also it allows unlimited streams so when the kids and grand kids come to visit we can have a dozen or so streams all going at once. I wasn't looking at saving money as we added a couple of special streaming services based on content but using the Amazon Fire 4k dongle we couldn't be happier. Nice that there's no contract because I'll cancel in a second if they start playing the price increase game.
